Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the'following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81- 30 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON STREET IIIPROVIIIENT Bowers Drive N.W. lying south of Highway #10 N.W. to its end WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Comacil adopted -the 16th day of April, 1981, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer, Consulting Engineers Diversified, with reference to the im- provement of: a) Bowers Drive N.W. lying south of Highway #10 N.W. to its end The above street is located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 32, Range 25 and the Southwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, Range 25. and such streets to be improved to a five ton rating and bituminous surfacing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the costs of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of $174,225. 2) A public hearing will be held on the proposed improve- ment on the 26th day of May, 1981, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., at 7:30 P,M. and the City Administrator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hear- ing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Coomcilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimann, and Cox smd the following voted against the same: None
