Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-38 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE PURCHASE OF A D~P BOX AND HOIST~ ONE ONE-WAY SNOW PLOW, ONE SIDE SNOW WING AND ONE SANDER WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the pur- chase of a dump box and hoist, one one-way snow plow, one side snow wing and one sander, bids were received, opened and tabulated accord- ing to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Truck Hayden Itasca Equip. The lower price reflects the correct sander ~This is a Husting Quick Hitch which is much stronger than the standard hitch. AND WHEREAS, it appears that Hayden-Murphy is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The City Council accepts the lowest total cost bid which was Hayden-M~rphy of $14,416.00. The Council authorizes the City Admini- strator to order the dump box and hoist, one one-way snow plow, one side snow wing and one sander from Hayden-Murphy. 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder is to be retained until equipment has been received by the City of Ramsey. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereofl Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann, and Cox
