Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-54 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON SEALCOATING IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />Gorhams Service Road lying west of State Highway No. 47 <br />between the line of 152nd Avenue N.W. and approximately <br />165 feet south of 151st Avenue N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted the <br />26th day of May, 1981, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer, <br />Consulting Engineers Diversified, with reference to the improvement of: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Gorhams Service Road lying west of State Highway No. 47 <br />between the line of 152nd Avenue N.W. and approxiamtely <br />165 feet south of 151st Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />The above street is located in the Southwest Quarter of <br />Section 24, Township 32 North, Range 25 West, City of <br />Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />and such street to be improved by sealcoating surfacing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF Minnesota~ as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such streets <br />in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for <br />all or a portion of the costs of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of $1,490. <br /> <br /> 2) A public hearing will be held on the proposed improvement <br />on the 30th day of June, 1981, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Muni- <br />cipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. at 8:20 P.M. and the City Admini- <br />strator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimann and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
