Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-54 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON SEALCOATING IMPROVEMENT Gorhams Service Road lying west of State Highway No. 47 between the line of 152nd Avenue N.W. and approximately 165 feet south of 151st Avenue N.W. WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted the 26th day of May, 1981, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer, Consulting Engineers Diversified, with reference to the improvement of: a) Gorhams Service Road lying west of State Highway No. 47 between the line of 152nd Avenue N.W. and approxiamtely 165 feet south of 151st Avenue N.W. The above street is located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32 North, Range 25 West, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota. and such street to be improved by sealcoating surfacing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF Minnesota~ as follows: 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the costs of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of $1,490. 2) A public hearing will be held on the proposed improvement on the 30th day of June, 1981, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Muni- cipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. at 8:20 P.M. and the City Admini- strator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None
