Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-63 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING CITY POLICY ON MOVING BUILDINGS OF LESS THAN <br />580 SQUARE FEET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's policy has been that a <br />$100 fee would be charged on any building that is moved into the <br />City. In addition, they would be charged for a building permit; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Building Official submitted a memo <br />dated June 2, 1981 at the Council's request, recommending that <br />the $100 fee be waived for accessory buildings of less than 580 <br />square feet in size, contingent upon the applicant providing a <br />clear photograph of all four sides of the structure to be moved. <br />Further, that a building permit and Council approval be required. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The following City policy is hereby established on <br />the request to move in to the City of Ramsey accessory <br />buildings of less than 580 square feet: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />The individual will be required to provide the <br />City Building Official a clear photograph of all <br />four (4) sides of the accessory building. <br /> <br />The Building Official will then request Council <br />approval on the moving in of an accessory build,lng <br />of less than 580 square feet. The Building Official <br />will prepare a report for Council review in making <br />this decision. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />The individual will be charged a building permit <br />fee. The moving inspection fee of $100 is omitted <br />for any structure of less than 580 square feet. <br /> <br />Ail other types of structures would still have to <br />be inspected prior to being moved in at a fee of $100. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Cox and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Van Wagner, <br />and Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
