Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-66 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR A CABLE COMMUNICATION <br />SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted Resolution #81-13 <br />adopting the Request for Proposals and receiving the draft preliminary <br />franchise ordinance for a cable communication system in City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that a fifteen year franchise <br />term would better serve the interests and cable communication needs of <br />the residents of City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey amends the Request for Proposals <br />adopted in Resolution #81-13 to provide for a fifteen <br />year franchise term. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The attached changes to the Request for Proposals, <br />reflecting the fifteen year franchise term, shall be <br />forwarded to all interested cable television vendors and <br />that said attachments to this resolution are hereby <br />incorporated by reference and made a part hereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Van Wagner, <br />and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of June, 1981. <br /> <br />A strator ~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
