Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-72 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON STREET IMPROVEMENT a) 169th Lane N.W. between the line of Baugh Street N.W. west to its end b) 173rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Baugh Street N.W. west to its end c) Driscoll Street N.W. between the line of 176th Avenue N.W. and 169th Lane N.W. WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted the 23rd day of June, 1981, a report has been prepared by the City En- gineer, consulting Engineers Diversified, with reference to the improve- ment of: a) 169th Lane N.W. between the line of Baugh Street N.W. west to its end b) 173rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Baugh Street N.W. west to its end c) Driscoll Street N.W. between the line of 176th Avenue N.W. and 169th Lane N.W. Ail of the above described streets are located in the Southwest Half of Section 6, Township 32, Range 25 and the Northwest Half of Section 7, Township 32, Range 25 City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota. and such streets to be improved to a five ton rating and bituminous sur- facing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the costs of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of $135,500. 2) A public hearing will be held on the proposed improvement on the 28th day of July, 1981, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Muni- cipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. at 7:45 P.M. and the City Admini- strator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
