Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81- 88a <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Dain Bosworth has submitted a letter dated July 9, <br />1981, requesting to be a depository of City of Ramsey funds for investment <br />only. <br /> <br />NOW TttEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) The City Council hereby appoints the firm Dain Bosworth <br />Inc., 100 Dain Tower, Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a depository <br />of City investment funds. <br /> <br />2) This appointment does not preclude the City from placing <br />its investments with the highest bid received from any of its <br />designated depository institutions. <br /> <br />3) A copy of this resolution will be furnished to the City <br />Accountant and Dain Bosworth. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whcreupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 28th day of July, 1981. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
