Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and mvoed for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-97 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Council on July 28, 1981, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improving the following streets: a) 153rd Lane N.W. lying in the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 25 and the Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, lying West of Sunfish Lake Blvd. b) 154th Lane N.W. lying between Hematite Street N.W. and Xenon Street N.W. c) Zirconium Street N.Wo lying between 153rd Lane N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. d) Xenon Street N.W. lying between 153rd Lane N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such pro- posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- spection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) A hearing shall be held on the 8th day of September, 1981, in the City hall at 7:45 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assess- ment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox
