Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-113 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids on the following drainage improvement project: Project #81-8 consisting of the following area: 159th Avenue N.W. between the line of Ebony Street N.W. and Dolomite Street N.W. and the following bids were considered according to law on the above listed drainage improvement project and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total Bid Lillemo Backhoe Service Mickelson Plumbing Dan's Cesspool $2,090.00 2,480.00 6,995.OO AND WHEREAS, it appears that Lillemo Backhoe Service is the lowest responsible bidder of $2,090.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Lillemo Backhoe Service in the name of the City of Ramsey for the improvement of the above listed drainage problem in the above listed project according to plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, ex- cept that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- lng voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Reimann and Cox
