Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-122 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- POSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: a) 157th Lane N.W. between the line of County State Aid Highway #5 (Nowthen Blvd. N.W.) east to its end. b) 158th Avenue N.W. between the line of Sodium Street N.W. and Radium Street N.W. c) 158th Lane N.W. between the line of Sodium Street N.W. east to its end. d) Radium Street N.W. between the line of 157th Lane N.W. and 158th Lane N.W. e) Sodium Street N.W. between the line of 158th Avenue N.W. north to the end of Hall Dover Acres and the contract price for such improvement is $4,710.70 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to ~79.99 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $5,490.69; and of this cost the City will pay $ as its share of the cost. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $5,490.69. 2) The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer Consulting Engineers diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assess- able lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without re- gard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assess- ment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox
