Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-126 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Council on August 25, 1981, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improving the following streets; a) 157th Lane N.W. between the line of County State Aid Highway #5 (Nowthen Blvd. N.W.) east to its end. b) 158th Avenue N.W. between the line of Sodium Street N.W. and Radium Street N.W. c) 158th Lane N.W. between the line of Sodium Street N.W. east to its end. d) Radium Street N.W. between the line of 157th Lane N.W. and 158th Lane N.W. e) Sodium Street N.W. between the line of 158th Avenue N.W. north to the end of Hall Dover Acres AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such pro- posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- spection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of September, 1981, in the City Hall at 7:30 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such asscssment. 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox
