Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-131 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PRICE QUOTES RECEIVED FOR THE PURCHASE OF A TIRE <br />CHANGER AND AWARDING THE QUOTE TO THE LOWEST/BEST PRICE QUOTE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to call for price quotes for the purchase of a <br />tire changer, the following price quotes were received by the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Bidder Make/Model Price Quote <br /> <br />Universal Equip. Mfg. <br /> <br />S31 $1,785.OO <br /> <br />Kelley & Associates <br /> <br />Bishman 931A <br /> <br />$3,900.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Universal Equipment Manufacturing <br />had the lowest price quote. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council accepted the price quote of Universal Equip- <br />ment Manufacturing for the tire changer model S31 in the amount of $1,785.00 <br />which was the lowest/best price quote. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Council directed the City Administrator/Clerk to in- <br />form all who submitted price quotes of their action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 8th day of September, 1981. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ -~ <br /> <br /> <br />
