Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81- 145 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE LOWER <br />LEVEL OF THE RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the completion <br />of the lower level of the Ramsey Municipal Center, the following were received: <br /> <br /> Total Alternate <br />Contractor Bid Bid # <br /> <br />Lehn Electric <br /> <br />$83,900,00 <br /> <br />$13,955.00 <br /> <br />Johnson Engineering <br /> <br />99,200.00 25,000.00 <br /> <br /> Zeman Painting Contractor 2,600.00 <br /> <br /> 0990 - <br /> Poppenberger - 0925 - 14,928.00 4,070.00 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council hereby rejects the bids as listed above <br />on the reocmmendation of the architect, Seiberlich, Whipkey & Associates <br />letter dated September 14, 1981. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Council hereby directs the City Administrator/Clerk <br />to return forthwith to all bidders the deposit made with their bids and <br />advise them of their action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Counci]member Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adoPted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1981. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
