Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-150 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ADVANCE ENCUMBRANCE OF THE 1982 MSA FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has submitted to the Commissioner <br />of Transportation the plans and specifications for the improvement of <br />Variolitc Street N.W. from 161st Avenue N.W. to 173rd Avenue N.W. (S.A.P. <br />199-101-O4); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, state-aid funds have been expended on the improvement <br />of said street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's 1981 apportionment was decreased <br />in compliance with the Commissioner's Order dated August 7, 1981; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the costs expended on the said improvement have ex- <br />ceeded Ramsey's current municipal state aid account balance available for <br />construction. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City of Ramsey requests advance encumbrance of 1982 <br />MSAS funds to cover the additional cost in the amount of $8,332.92. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Cox and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Van Wagner <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1981. <br /> <br />ATTEST: /~ // ~' <br /> <br /> <br />
