Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-152 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: <br /> <br />a) 169th Lane N.W. between the line of Baugh Street N.W. <br />west to its end <br /> <br />b) 173rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Baugh Street N.W. <br />west to its end <br /> <br />c) Driscoll Street N.W. between the line of 176th Avenue <br />N.W. and 169th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $63,640. and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$15,156. so that the total cost of the improvement will be $78,796. and <br />of this cost the City will pay $ --- as its share of the cost. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is <br />hereby declared to be $78,796.00. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer, <br />Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assess- <br />able lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without re- <br />gard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such <br />proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assess- <br />ment, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Van Wagner <br /> <br /> <br />
