Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-153 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- POSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a contract ahs been let for the improvement of: a) 154th Lane N.W. lying between Rhinestone Street N.W. and Ramsey Blvd. N.W. b) Rhinestone Street N.W. lying between 153rd Lane N.W. and 154th Lane N.W0 and the contract price for such improvement is $17,617.5Rnd the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $4,819.00so that the total cost of the improvement will be $22,436.5Rnd of this cost the City will pay $ as its share of the cost. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $22,436.52. 2) The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer, Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assess- able lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without re- gard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assess- ment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Cooncilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: ~one and the following members were absent: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Van Wagner whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1981.
