Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-157 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on <br />September 22, 1981, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed <br />assessment of the cost of improvement on the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 149th Lane N.W. between the line of Armstrong Blvd. N.W. <br />and Willemite Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) 150th Lane N.W. between the line of Armstrong Blvd. N.W. <br />and 149th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />c) Chameleon Street N.W. between the line of 149th Lane <br />N.W. north to its end. <br /> <br />d) Bison Street N.W. between the line of 149th Lane N.W. <br />and 150th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />e) Zeolite Street N.W. between the line of 150th Lane N.W. <br />and approximately 200 feet south of 149th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />f) Yolite Street N.W. between the line of 15Oth Lane N.W. <br />and 152nd Lane N.W. <br /> <br />g) Willemite Street N.W. between the line of 149th Lane <br />N.W. and 152nd Lane N.W. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the clerk has notified the council that such proposed <br />assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> l) A hearing shall be held on the 14th day of October, 1981, in <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:30 P.M. to pass upon such proposed assess- <br />ment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such <br />improvement will be given an opportunity to e heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The city clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the <br />hearing on the proposed assessment to be published twice in the official <br />newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in <br />the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed <br />notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
