Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adopt ion: RESOLTUION #81- 159 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on September 22, 1981, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improvement on the following streets: a) 154th Lane N.W. lying between Rhinestone Stree N.W. and Ramsey Blvd. N.W. b) Rhinestone Street N.W. lying between 153rd Lane N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. AND WHEREAS, the clerk has notified the council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) A hearing shall be held on the 14th day of October, 1981, in the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:50 P.M. to pass upon such proposed assess- ment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2) The city clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published twice in the official newspaper at ]_east two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- lng voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None and the following members were absent: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Van Wagner whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1981.
