Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-169 RESOLUTION TO REDUCE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS REGARDING STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #81-9; CASE OF MR. GEORGE MOROZ, 5551 - 179th LANE N.W. WHEREAS, it was brought to the Council's attention that Mr. George Moroz was being assessed for one full unit in Public Improvement Project #81-9; and WHEREAS, it is Council policy to assess only a one-half unit assessment for corner lots. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the one unit assessment in the amount of $1,926.06 levied against 5551 - 179th Lane N.W. (Plat 89201 Parcel 3010) be re- duced to a one-half unit assessment in the amount of $963.03. 2) That the above deleted assessment in the amount of $963.03 will become the City's share of costs. 3) It is directed that the following administrative action be taken on this case: a) That the City Accountant be furnished a copy of this resolution so that appropriate action may be taken in the Accounting and Assessment records. b) That a copy of this resolution be filed in Improvement Project #81-9's file. c) That Mr. George Moroz, 5551 - 179th Lane N.W. be furnished a certified copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None and the foilowing members were absent: Councilmembers Van Wagner and Cox whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of October~ 1981.
