Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #82-31 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 22nd day of February, 1982, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of the following street: 167th Avenue NW between the line of CSAH #5 and State Highway #47 AND WHEREAS, ten days' published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 23rd day of March, 1982, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The above proposed street improvement project will be changed as follows: 167th Avenue NW from CSAH #5 to Quicksilver Street NW will be a rural section street and from Quicksilver Street NW to State Highway #47 it will be an urban section street. 2) Such improvement is hereby ordered by the Ramsey City Council and is to be funded wholly through MSAS funds. 3) Mr. Pete Raatikka of Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare the plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Reimann and Sorteberg and the following voted against the same: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Van Wagner whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of March, 1982. ~ Mayor ATTEST: ~) // ~ /~ ~y~inis~ator/C1 erk
