Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-33a <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT (Barthels Rum River <br />Acres) <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 164th Lane N.W. between the line of St. Francis Blvd. <br />N.W. (State Highway #4~ and Dysprosium Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) Junkite Street N.W. from the South plat boundary of <br />Barthel's Rum River Acres to 164th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />c) Germanium Street N.W. from the South plat boundary <br />of Barthel's Rum River Acres to the north plat boundary <br />of Barthel's Rum River Acres <br />d) Dysprosium Street N.W. from 164th Lane N.W. to the <br />north plat boundary of Barthel's Rum River Acres <br />and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> l) That the proposed improvement be referred to Mr. Pete <br />Raatikka of Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. for study and that he <br />is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising <br />the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement <br />is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and thc following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Van WAgner <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of March, 1982. <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ /~ ~ Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
