Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-51 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ADVANCE AND ENCUMBRANCE OF 1983 MSAS FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is submitting to the Commissioner <br />of Transportation the plans and specifications for the improvement of <br />167th Avenue N.W. from C.S.A.H. No. 5 to S.T.H. No. 47; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the state-aid funds will be requested for the improve- <br />ment of said street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer's estimate on the project exceeds <br />the City's current M.S.A.S. construction fund balance. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey requests advance encumbrance of <br />1983 M.S.A.S. funds to cover the additional cost of the improvement project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Coun¢ilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted aginst the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 27th day of April, 1982. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
