Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-55 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted April 27, <br />1982, a report has been prepared by Mr. Pete Raatikka of Consulting En- <br />gineers Diversified, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the follow- <br />ing streets: <br /> <br />a) Gibbon Street N.W. between the line of County <br />Road #63 (173rd Avenue N.W.) north to its end at the <br />cul de sac <br /> <br />b) Eland Street N.W. between the line of 176th Lane <br />N.W. and 177th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />c) 176th Lane N.W. between the line of Gibbon Street <br />N.W. to the east plat boundary of Deerwood Addition <br /> <br />d) 177th Avenue N.W. between the line of Gibbon Street <br />N.W. to the east plat boundary of Deerwood Addition <br /> <br />and this report was received by the Council on the 27th day of April, 1982. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such streets <br />in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for <br />all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of <br /> <br /> 2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- <br />ment on the 17th day of May, 1982, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center at 7:30 P.M. and the City Administrator/Clerk shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required <br />by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Van WAgner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br />and thc following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
