Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #82-63 RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRICE QUOTES AND AWARDING BID TO WIRE THE RAMSEY COMMUNITY SIGN WHEREAS, pursuant to call for price quotes for the wiring of the Ramsey Community Sign, the following price quotes were received: Bidder Amount of Bid Rit-Nel Electric $1,452.00 Lehn Electric $1,680.00' Hedstrom Electric $2,689.00 *$614.00 will be deducted from this figure if the burial of the wire is installed by others. AND WHEREAS, it appears that Rit-Nel Electric bid in the amount of $1,452.00 had the best price quote, however, Lehn Electric has agreed to deduct $614.00 from their price quote if the burial of the wire is in- stalled by others than their firm for a total price quote of $1,066.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: l) The City Council accepted the price quote from Lehn Electric in the amount of $1,066.O0 (the wire will be installed by others). 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to inform all who submitted price quotes of their action. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, COuncilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None and the following member was absent: Councilmember Cox whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of April, 1982. /~ /// Mayor strator .×.~ Cj~t~y Admi~i /Clerk
