Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82- 77 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 4 X 4 <br />TRUCK FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the purchase <br />of a 4 x 4 truck, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Main Motor Sales Company <br /> <br />$11,199.00 <br /> <br />Thomas Pontiac-Buick <br /> <br />$12,449.51 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Main Motor Sales has the lowest <br />price quote in the amount of $11,199.OO. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council accepts the price quote of Main Motor <br />Sales Company for the 4 x 4 truck in the amount of $11,199.00. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposit made with their <br />bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder to be retained <br />until the truck has been received by the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />RAmsey City Council this the 25th day of May, ~982. <br /> <br /> Acting (l~yor <br /> <br /> <br />
