Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #8238 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE PURCHASE OF A DUMP BOX AND HYDRA TURN PLOW WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the purchase of a dump box and hydra turn plow, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bid was received Complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount of Bid LaHass Manufacturing and Sales $3,776 dump box and hoist $1,350 hydra turn plow AND WHEREAS, it appears that LaHass Manufacturing and Sales is the lowest and only bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The City Council accepts the bid from LaHass Manufacturing in the total amount of $5,126. The Council authorizes the City Admini- strator to order the dump box and hydra turn plow from LaHass Manufacturing. 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder is to be retained until equipment has been received by the City of Ramsey The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmember Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None and the following members were absent: Mayor Gamec whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of May, 1982. ~ing~-or ATTEST: ~ /~ // ~ ~
