Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-.90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING TO BE USED FOR EXTENDED HOURS AT THE ELK RIVER <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT ~728'S SWIMMING POOL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council received a letter from Elk River <br />School District #728 requesting additional funding to assist in keeping the <br />swimming pool open for extended hours during the summer months. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) To contribute $500 to Elk River School District #728, Elk River, <br />Minnesota, for the purpose of defraying the cost of keeping the swimming pool <br />open for extneded use. <br /> <br /> 2) That a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Ramsey City <br />Accountant so that a check may be issued to District #728 in the amount of $500. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Mayor Gamec and upon vote being taken thereon~ the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmember Van Wagner, Reimann, Cox and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the City Ramsey <br />City Council this the 22nd day of June, 1982. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: /~ <br /> <br />I hereby acknowledge receipt of the <br />above referenced resolution: <br /> <br />City/Ac c-o'u~ t an t <br /> <br /> <br />
