Councilmember R~imann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~82r91 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF RAMSEY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey did on October 14, <br />1981, submit to the Metropolitan Council copies of the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan <br />for review and subsequently did submit revisions adopted by the City Council on <br />January 4, 1982 and March 29, 1982; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council, on its authority under Section <br />473.175 of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, did conduct said review; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 27, 1982, the Metropolitan Council adopted Resolution <br />#82-102 which adopted recommendations of the Physical Development Committee <br />regarding the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council recommendations stated that no <br />modifications are required as authorized by Minnesota Statutues Section 473.175, <br />Subd. 1; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act 473.864, Subd. 1, pro- <br />vides that each governmental unit shall adopt its comprehensive plan within nine <br />months of a final decision by the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA, to hereby adopt its comprehensive plan with no modifications. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Van Wagner, Cox and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 22nd day of June, 1982. <br /> <br /> <br />
