Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-105 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO INSURE THAT CITY ORDINANCES IN REGARDS TO <br />ZONING AND UNLICENSED VEHICLES ARE ENFORCED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has a part of its City Code Chapters dealing with <br />nuisances, unlicensed vehicles, improper zoning uses and numerous other regula- <br />tions intended to preserve the aesthetic quality of life and environment of all <br />residents in the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff and Councilmembers receive numerous daily <br />complaints relating to junked cars, businesses being carried on in residential <br />areas and unsightly nuisances such as rubbish, old car parts, etc. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That City Staff be directed to enforce by all appropriate means <br />the City Code in order to keep the City clean, healthful and to prevent the <br />accumulation of junk and debris. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly .seconded by ~ <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 27th of July, 1982. <br /> <br />Councilmember Arnold Cox <br /> <br />Councilmember 'Sue Van.
