Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-109 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has recently completed its Compre- <br />hensive Plan as required by the State Land Planning Act; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, THE City of Ramsey has completed a Comprehensive Sani- <br />tary Sewer Plan in September of 1978; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 1990 Urban Service Area and the construction schedule <br />for projected sanitary sewer in the Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Plan has been <br />revised in the Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Appendix C of the Comprehensive Plan includes the <br />1978 Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Plan as a reference for the proposed over- <br />all sanitary sewer system in the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission has reviewed <br />the ~aste management section of the Comprehensive Plan and found that it <br />would comply with the requirements of the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission <br />Act, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 473 C as a comprehensive sewer plan with minor <br />modificatiens; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramscy has made the minor changes to the waste <br />management section of the C~mprehensive Plan as requested by George W. Lusher, <br />Chief Administrator of the Metropolitan ~aste Control Commission, in a letter <br />to Charles Weaver, Chairman of the Metropolitan Council dated April 23, 1982; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Metroepolitan Waste Control Commission Act, Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 473 C requires that each local governmental unit within the <br />Metropolitan area adopt a comprehensive sewer policy plan for the collection, <br />treatment and disposal of sewage in accordance with the Council's Water Quality <br />Management Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City adopts the Waste Management Section of the Comprehen- <br />sive Plan as its Comprehensive Sewer Policy Plan which is attached as enclosure <br />(1) to this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner~ Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Non~ <br /> <br /> <br />
