Councilmember Van Wagnerintroduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #82-110 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a contract has been let and the costs have been determined for the improvement of the following streets: a) Vanadium Street N.W. between the line of County Road #62 (Green Valley Road) and 180th Lane N.W. b) Uranium Street N.W. between the line of 178th Lane N.W. 18Oth Lane N.W. c) 177th Avenue N.W. between the line of Vanadium Street N.W. east to its end at the cul de sac d) 178th Lane N.W. from its point of beginning west of Vanadium Street east to Uranium Street N.W. e) 179th Lane N.W. between the line of Uranium Street N.W. east to its end. f) 180th Lane N.W. between the line of Vanadium Street and Uranium Street N.W. and the contract price for such improvement is $60,397.50 and the expenses in- curred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement is $13,617.13 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $74,O14.63. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be $ -- and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited properety owners is declared to be $74,014.63. 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer (Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. Mr. Pete Raatikka) shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regare to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public in- spection. 3) The clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assess- ment notify the Council thereof.
