Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-110c <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let and the costs have been determined <br />for the improvement of the following street: <br /> <br />157th Lane N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. (County <br />Road #56) east to its end <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $31,394.OO and the expenses in- <br />curred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $13,673.93 <br />so that the total cost of the improvement will be $45,067.93. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by <br />the City is hereby declared to be $ -- and the portion of the cost to be <br />assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $45,067.93. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer <br />Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., shall forthwith <br />calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement <br />against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district <br />affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he <br />shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public <br />inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment <br />notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Van WAgner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following member was absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br /> <br /> <br />
