Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #82-110d RESOLUTIONDECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, a contract has been let and the costs have been determined for the improvement of the following street: Bowers Drive N.W. beginning in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30 southeast to its end in the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30 (Bowers Mississippi Acres) and the contract price for such improvement is $98,249.00 and the expenses in- curred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $28,913.14 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $127,162.14. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ -- and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $127,162.14. 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3) The clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assess- ment notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by COuncilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None and thc following member was absent: Mayor Gamec
