Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-110h <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on <br />August 24, 1982, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment <br />of the cost of improving the following streets: <br /> <br />a) Vanadium Street N.W. between the line of County Road <br />#62 (Green Valley Road) and 180th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />b) Uranium Street N.W. between the line of 178th Lane <br />N.W. 180th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />c) 177th Avenue N.W. between the line of Vanadium Street <br />N.W. east to its end at the cul de sac <br /> <br />d) 178th Lane N.W. from its point of beginning west of <br />Vanadium Street east to Uranium Street N.W. <br /> <br />e) 179th Lane N.W. between the line of Uranium Street N.W. <br />east to its end. <br /> <br />f) 180th Lane N.W. between the line of Vanadium Street and <br />Uranium Street N.W. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the clerk, has notified the Council that such pro- <br />posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- <br />spection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 29th day of September, 1982, <br />in the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 P.M. to pass upon such proposed assess- <br />ment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such <br />improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the <br />hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official news- <br />paper at leat two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice <br />the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be <br />given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less <br />than two weeks prior ro the hearings. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
