Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-1101 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on <br />August 24, 1982, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment <br />on the cost of improving the following street: <br /> <br />Bowers Drive N.W. beginning in the Northeast Quarter of the <br />Northeast Quarter of SEction 30 southeast to its end in the <br />Southeast Quarter of teh Northeast Quarter of SEction 30 <br />(Bowers Mississippi Acres) <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the clerk has notified the Council that such pro- <br />posed assessment has been completed and filed in the office for public in- <br />spection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 29th day of September, 1982, <br />in the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:40 P.Mo to pass upon such proposed assess- <br />ment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such <br />improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the <br />hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official news- <br />paper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice <br />the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be <br />given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less <br />than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />COuncilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following member was absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br /> <br /> <br />
