Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #82-157 RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRICE QUOTES AND AWARDING BID FOR PET CLINIC WHEREAS, pursuant to call for price quotes for rabies and dis- temper shots for the City of Ramsey's semi-annual Pet Clinic the following price quotes were received: Bidder Price for Shots Elk River Veterinary $2.75 Rabies $3.00 DHLP (Distemper) $3.00 Parvo $4.00 Pan RC St. Francis Veterinary (Dogs) $4.50 DHL (distemper) $4.50 Parvo $4.50 Rabies (Cats) $4.50 Distemper-Rhinitis $4.50 Rabies Anoka-West Pet Hospital $3.00 Rabies only AND WHEREAS, it appears that Elk River Veterinary had the best price quote, however, Anoka-West Pet Hospital was the only Ramsey business that had presented a quote. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City COuncil accepts the price quote of Anoka-West Pet Hospital for rabies only in the amount of $3.00 per shot. 2) That the City Council qualified the above action taken by them due to the fact that Anoka-West Pet Hospital is a Ramsey business and they are wanting to help them due to the tax base. 3) That the City Council directed the City Administrator/Clerk to inform all who submitted price quotes of their action. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, COuncilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None
