Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #82-159 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR STREET CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Counil, City of Ramsey adopted the <br />following resolution approving the following street project in the City of <br />Ramsey: <br /> <br />Resolution #82-31 adopted March 23, 1982 for M.S.A.S. <br />Project #82-1 <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution #82-97 awarding the bid to U.D. Contracting for the construction <br />of Project #82-1 and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, <br />Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated November 22, 1982, for <br />the Project #82-1 in the amount of $60,180.75. <br /> <br />NOW TEHREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as' follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council, City of Ramsey hereby authorizes <br />partial payment to U.D. Contracting as per the City Engineer's letter dated <br />November 22, 1982, for the Project #82-1 in the amount of $60,180.75. <br /> <br /> 2) That the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey hereby authorizes <br />the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial <br />payment. <br /> <br /> 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included <br />in Resolution #82- adopted by the Ramsey City Council on November 23, 1982 <br />approving payment of the bills for the month of November. <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed <br />copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, COuncilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
