Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: #82- 163 REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN FOUR-WAY TRAFFIC STOP SIGNS ON SUNFISH LAKE BLVD. (CSAH ~57) AND INDUSTRIAL BLVD. (CSAH #116) INTERSECTION TO ~O~WAY STOP SIGN WHEREAS, current traffic signalization at the intersection of Sunfish Lake Blvd. (CSAH #57) and Industrial Blvd. (CSAH #116) requires all traffic to stop at this intersection. WHEREAS, citizens and commerce people of the iCity of Ramsey have re- quested to the Ramsey City Council that the four-way stop at the above intersection be changed to requiring only the traffic traveling on Industrial Blvd. be required to stop at this intersection. They stated that the heavy truck traffic on Sunfish Lake Blvd. was being penalized by the current signalization. WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council requested City Staff to review the current signalization and they have also recommended to the Ramsey City Council that only the traffic traveling on Industrial Blvd. be required to stop at the above stated intersection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) It is therefore requested that the Anoka County Board of Commissioners authorize the County Highway Engineer to change the signalization at the intersection of Industrial Blvd. (CSAH ~11~ and Sunfish Lake Blvd. (CSAH #57) from a four-way stop signalization to a two-way stop signalization for the traffic traveling on Industrial Blvd. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, Van Wagner and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of November, 1982.
