Page 2 of 2 <br />Resolution #83-17 <br /> <br />That the potential loss of tax dollars will affect not only Ramsey but will <br />affect all other taxing districts in Ramsey to an even greater extent; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey was advised by the Metropolitan Council that the <br />Council reviews only landfill sites presented to it by the county and that <br />the County could propose new sites which the Council would review and that <br />the County has the ability to delete previously submitted site. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RASMEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> That the City of Ramsey opposes Anoka County's proposed landfill <br />Site "P" and requests that the Anoka County Board delete said Site "P" from <br />its inventory of landfill sites. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City COuncil this the 21st day of March, 1983. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
