Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-33 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following streets with <br />sealcoating: <br /> <br />a) 163rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Okapi Street N.W. <br />and the east plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates. <br /> <br />b) 164th Circle between the line of Marmoset Street N.W. <br />west to its end at the cul de sac <br /> <br />c) 164th Avenue N.W. between the line of Okapi Street N.W. <br />and the west plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates. <br /> <br />d) 164th Lane N.W. between the line of Okapi Street N.W. <br />and Marmoset Street N.W. <br /> <br />e) Marmoset Street N.W. between the line of 163rd Avenue <br />N.W. and the north plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates. <br /> <br />f) Okapi Street N.W. between the line of 163rd Avenue N.W. <br />and 164th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the proposed improvement be referred to Mr. Pete Raatikka <br />of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. for study and that he is instructed to <br />report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
