Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-47 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR THE PURPOSE OF SETTING UP A POLICY FOR THE RAMSEY RESIDENT WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota adopted Resolution #83-46 establishing the Ramsey Resident as the City of Ramsey's official newsletter; and WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota deem it necessary to establish a policy for· the Ramsey Resi- dent; and WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota recommend establishing an ad hoc committee for the purpose of setting up a policy for the Ramsey Resident. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota, hereby establishes an ad hoc committee for the purpose of establishing a policy for the Ramsey Resident. 2) That the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota hereby appoint the following members to serve on the ad hoc committee: a) Councilmember Van Wagner b) Councilmember Schlueter c) Kathleen Schneider, Citizen d) City Attorney Goodrich 3) That the ad hoc committee is to report back to the Ramsey City Council as soon as is possible on their findings for a policy for the Ramsey Resident. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, COuncilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 7th day of April, 1983.
