Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-48 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council Personnel Committee has forwarded to the <br />full City Council the proposed tentative wage agreements which are as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1) Personnel Committee's final proposed tentative agree- <br />ment: a) 8~% salary increas; b) Additional ~ holiday to <br />be granted on December 24th. <br /> <br />2) Union's final proposed tentative agreement: a) 9% <br />salary increase; b) Additional ~ holiday to be granted <br />on December 24tho <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> l) To authorize the approval of the labor agreement between the <br />City of Ramsey and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. Further to authorize <br />the Mayor and City Administrator to sign said agreement. <br /> <br /> 2) To direct that subparagraph 2 of paragraph 10.0913 of the <br />City Code by changed to reflect that an additional holiday is granted com- <br />mencing at 12:30 P.M. on December 24th. <br /> <br /> 3) To direct that Exhibit "A" of the labor agreement be pre- <br />pared reflecting a 9% salary increase. Further, showing the different steps. <br /> <br />4) To direct that the following persons be furnished a copy of <br />this contract: <br /> <br />a) Chief of Police <br />b) City Attorney <br />c) City Accountant <br />d) Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. <br /> <br /> 5) To direct that a copy of the above labor agreement be in~ <br />eluded as an enclosure to this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner and Schlueter <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 7th day of April, 1983. <br /> <br /> <br />
