Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-48 WHEREAS, the Council Personnel Committee has forwarded to the full City Council the proposed tentative wage agreements which are as follows: 1) Personnel Committee's final proposed tentative agree- ment: a) 8~% salary increas; b) Additional ~ holiday to be granted on December 24th. 2) Union's final proposed tentative agreement: a) 9% salary increase; b) Additional ~ holiday to be granted on December 24tho NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) To authorize the approval of the labor agreement between the City of Ramsey and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. Further to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign said agreement. 2) To direct that subparagraph 2 of paragraph 10.0913 of the City Code by changed to reflect that an additional holiday is granted com- mencing at 12:30 P.M. on December 24th. 3) To direct that Exhibit "A" of the labor agreement be pre- pared reflecting a 9% salary increase. Further, showing the different steps. 4) To direct that the following persons be furnished a copy of this contract: a) Chief of Police b) City Attorney c) City Accountant d) Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. 5) To direct that a copy of the above labor agreement be in~ eluded as an enclosure to this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: Councilmembers Sorteberg and Reimann whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 7th day of April, 1983.
