Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-53 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted <br />March 28, 1983, a report has been prepared by Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson <br />Anderson Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the follow- <br />ing streets by sealcoating: <br /> <br />a) 169th Lane N.W. between its beginning at the west <br />section line of Section 11 to Sodium Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) 168th Lane N.W. between the line of Radium Street <br />N.W. and the St. Francis Blvd. service road. <br /> <br />c) 168th Avenue N.W. between the line of Quicksilver <br />Street N.W. and the St. Francis Blvd. service road. <br /> <br />d) Sodium Street N.W. between the line of 167th Avenue <br />N.W. and 169th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />e) Radium Street N.W. between the line of 167th Avenue <br />N.W. and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />f) Quicksilver Street N.W. between the line of 167th <br />Avenue and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />g) St. Francis Blvd. service road between the line of <br />168th Avenue NoW. and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and this report was received by the Council on April 26, 1983. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the council will consider the improvement of such <br />street by sealcoating in accordance with the report and the assessment of <br />abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pur- <br />suant to Minnesota Statutes 429 at an estimated total cost of the <br />improvement of $8,754.00. <br /> <br /> 2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- <br />ment on the 14th day of June, 1983, in the council Chambers of the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center at 7:10 P.M., and the clerk shall give mailed and pub- <br />lished notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
