Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-55 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted <br />March 28, 1983, a report has been prepared by Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson <br />Anderson Associates, Inc., with reference to the improvement of the follow- <br />ing streets by sealcoating: <br /> <br />a) 163rd AVenue N.W. between the line of Okapi Street N.W. <br />and the east plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates. <br /> <br />b) 164th Circle between the line of Marmoset Street N.W. <br />west to its end at the cul de sac. <br /> <br />c) 164th Avenue N.W. between the line of Okapi Street N.W. <br />and the west plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates. <br /> <br />d) 164th Lane N.W. between the line of Okapi Street N.W. <br />and Marmoset STreet N.W. <br /> <br />e) Marmoset Street N.W. between the line of 163rd Avenue <br />N.W. and the north plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates. <br /> <br />f) Okapi Street N.W. between the line of 163rd Avenue N.W. <br />and 164th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and this report was received by the Council on April 26, 1983. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Council will consider the improvement of such <br />streets by sealcoating in accordance with the report and the assessment of <br />abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pur- <br />suant to Minnesota Statutes 429 at an estimated total cost of the improve- <br />ment of $8,070.00. <br /> <br /> 2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- <br />ment on the 14th day of June, 1983, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center at 7:30 P.M. and the clerk shall give mailed and published <br />notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
