Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-58 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted March 28, 1983, a report has been prepared by Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the following streets by sealcoating: a) 151st Lane N.W. between the line of Chameleon Street N.W. and Alpaca Street N.W. b) 152nd Lane N.W. between the line of county Road #83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.) to the east plat boundary of Greenland Hills Plat #2. c) Chameleon Street N.W. between the linc of 151st Lane N.W. and 152nd Lane N.W. d) Alpaca STreet N.W. from 151st Lane N.W. north to its end at the cul de sac. and this report was received by the Council on April 26, 1983. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Council will consider the improvement of such streets by sealcoating in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429 at an estimated total cost of the im- provement of $5,503.00. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed im- provement on the 14th day of June, 1983, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 8:00 P.M. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, COuncilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the ~th day of April, 1983. zz'Wity admi/nZistrator/Clerk
