Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-67 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE DUMP BOX AND HOIST, ONE-WAY SNOW PLOW, ONE SIDE SNOW WING AND ONE SANDER WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the purchase of one dump box and hoist, one-way snow plow, one side snow wing and one sander, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Box & Hoist Plow Wing Sander Total Bryan $5,639.31 $3,140.75 $3,740.00 $1,900.00 $14,420.06 Equipment Perfection Falls 311 Falls W-10 Falls 1AS 825DA MacQueen $6,385.00 $7,380.00 Falls W-10 $1,917.00 $15,682.00 Nail 1821 Falls 311 Flink VCTSA DA Plow & Wing LaHass $7,419.O0 $3,840.00 $2,961.O0 $1,700.00 $15,920.00 Perfection Falls 311 FallsW-10 Falls 1AS 825DA Meyer EZ8 Crystell $6,895.00 $3,260.00 $4,065.00 $1,955.00 $16,175.O0 Galion Falls 311 Falls W-10 Falls 1AS AND WHEREAS, it appears that Bryan Equipment has the lowest responsible bids. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby accepts the bid of Bryan Equipment for the box & hoist, plow, wing and sander for a total bid of $14,420.06. 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby requested to notify each bidder of the Councils decision. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 26th day of April, 1983. /(~it~dmi~strato~/Clerk
