Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-75 RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA: 1) A certain petition requesting the improvement of the follow- ing streets: a) 152nd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. N.W. (County Road #56) and east to its end at the cul de sac b) 153rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. N.W. (County Road #56) and Jaspar Street N.W. c) Jaspar Street N.W. between the line of 151st Avenue N.W. and 153rd Avenue N.W. d) Hematite Street N.W. between the line of 152nd Avenue N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. was filed with the Ramsey City Council on May 9, 1983, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035. 2) The petition is hereby referred to Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improve- ment, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None and the following member was absent: Councilmember Van WAgner whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of May, 1983.
