Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-76 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO SUBMIT A BID TO ANOKA COUNTY FOR PARCELS THAT HAVE GONE TAX <br />FORFEIT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received notice that certain <br />parcels in the City has gone tax forfeit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, these certain parcels have special assessments owing <br />against them and said parcels and amounts are as follows: <br /> <br />a) Lot 3 Block 5 Whispering Pines Estates <br /> Assessment amount - $1,779.20 <br /> <br />b) Lot 11 Block 8 Whispering Pines Estates <br /> Assessment amount - $1,778.20 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey is concerned over <br />receiving the special assessments against these parcels.. %~ <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby directs <br />the City Staff to prepare a bid for the following parcels within the City <br />of Ramsey: <br /> <br />a) Lot 3 Block 5 Whispering Pines Estates <br /> Assessment amount - $1,779.20 <br /> <br />b) Lot 11 Block 8 Whispering Pines Estates <br /> Assessment amount - $1,778.20 <br /> <br />and that said bid should be an amount to cover the special assessments against <br />each parcel to assure the City receiving the amount of the special, assessment <br />against each parcel. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following member was absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
