Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~83-84 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SITE AND DESIGN PLAN FOR PRESTRESSED CONCRETE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Prestressed Concrete hereinafter referred to as "Appli- <br />cant'' has applied with the City of Ramsey, hereinafter referred to as "City" <br />for site and design approval for their new facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested the City Council to waive <br />the requirement for site improvements as defined in the City Ordinance due <br />to the type of industry proposed and its location; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested the City Council to waive <br />the requirement for the installation of a sprinkler system until such time <br />as City water becomes available; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has met all other requirements of the <br />State and Local Building Codes and has agreed to enter into a contract <br />with the City. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves <br />the site and design plan for the Applicant on the following described parcel: <br /> <br />The East Half of the Southwest Quarter of the South- <br />west Quarter of Section 27 Township 32 Range 25W and <br />more commonly known as 6755 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota <br /> <br /> 2) That upon approving of the site and design plan for Pre- <br />stressed Concrete the Applicant and the City shall enter into an agreement <br />and said agreement shall contain the following contingencies: <br /> <br />a) That the Structure have a total area of 10,920 square <br />feet and will be constructed primarily of precast concrete <br />panels. <br /> <br />b) That the site plan as submitted shows no improvements <br />other than the structure due to the type of industry pro- <br />posed and its location and the site improvements such as <br />hard surfaced parking areas, plantings, etc. be waived. <br /> <br />c) That the request for variance on the sprinkler system <br />requirement be granted until such time as-City water is <br />available. <br /> <br />d) That upon the availability of City water the Applicant <br />agrees to install a sprinkler system within 30 days. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
