Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-89 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted on May 31, 1983, a report has been prepared by Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the following street: 157th Avenue N.W. between the line of Armstrong Blvd. N.W. (County Road 083) and Variolite Street N.W. and this report was received by the Ramsey City Council on May 31, 1983. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Sta- tutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $39,600.00. 2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14th day of June, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 9:10 P.M. and the City Administrator/Clerk shall give mailed and pub- lished notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter and Reimann and the following members voted against the same: None and the following members abstained: Councilmember Sorteberg whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 31st day of May, 1983.
